Yourigami
What’s Included?
The Yourigami comes with two (2) layers, two cushions that are sewn together on, and two (2) triangles. There are pop-out shapes in the big cuchions.
The top layer is thinner, the bottom layer is thicker. The dimensions are smaller than other play couches.
Dimensions: 28” x 28” x 4” (Base squares) + 20” x 13” x 12.25” (Triangles)
Foam Source
The Yourigami foam is made in China. The foam is more dense on the bottom layer and softer on the top layer. The foam is softer than other play couches, which can be problematic for fort building or as kids grow and want to climb on the play couch.
Fabric
There is one fabric choice: Microsuede. It feels really cheap, almost like one of those free woven bags you get at conferences. It doesn’t feel durable and isn’t stain-resistant or Greenguard Gold/Oeko-Tex certified.
Cost
The Yourigami starts at $199. Sometimes you can find it even cheaper, like when Costco carried them. However, you do get what you pay for.
Overall Value
The Yourigami gets a 3/10. It’s made in China and has a cheaper feel to the fabric… like really cheap. It’s much smaller than other couches on the market (Nugget + Figgy). The zippers stuck when we tried to unzip them and the foam is too soft/small to build anything substantial.
