Overview
Sam’s Club introduced a play couch similar to Nugget’s in shape and style. This play couch is described as durable foam and soft covers for fun play or a sleep pad. Similar to Nugget, the Member’s Mark couch has a thin top layer made up of two squares and sewn into on 66” piece that folds in half, and a thicker, bottom layer made up of two squares and sewn into a 66” piece, that folds in half. They have two triangle bolsters that are fully modular. It is priced at $149.00. It is not made in the USA.

Foam Source
The Sam’s Club Member’s Mark foam is made in China. The foam is thicker on the bottom layer and softer on the top layer. The foam is softer than the Nugget, which can be problematic for fort building or as kids grow and want to climb on the play couch.
Fabric
There is one fabric choice: Microsuede. They do offer multiple colors and it is machine washable and dryable. Reviews talk about the zippers popping off. They do not list any certifications like Oeko-Tex to Greenguard Gold certified.
Cost
The Member’s Mark play couch starts at $179. It’s definitely one of the cheaper play couches on the market but I always think customers should consider product safety and certification. Foam is expensive and when a couch is priced so low, it typically means that there aren’t safety certs and that the foam is lower cost and sprayed with a chemical to keep it firm.
Overall Value
The Member’s Mark play couch gets a 5/10. It’s a decent Nugget dupe, but minus all the safety considerations. This means it probably won’t hold up as long as other options.
